MARILYN EIMON

Artist & Author

WELCOME

Marilyn Eimon, a nationally recognized quilter, has broadened her horizons by extending her unique fabric art concepts into watercolors.  Living on the edge of the sea has been inspirational and greatly influenced her work.  She has been awed by the beauty and power of the sea and ached to capture its essence through art through a variety of mediums: fabric, oils, and now watercolors.

She has been privileged to study with several fine local and international artists including Dustan Knight, George Carpenter, Dewitt Hardy, Susan Levenson, Todd Bonita, and Russel Whitten.

Plein Air painting gives me energy, inspiration and the drive to paint. I love the whole experience – the subjects, the light, the weather, the challenge and challenges, friendships, and fellowship… and of course, painting. There is something about the Maine air and light that is just great. Looking at old work it’s nice to recall the time and place spent with my painting friends.
